And we are incapable on our own to give God the righteousness He deserves.

Thankfully, God knows we have these struggles. And, He has an answer.

First, our confidence in drawing near to God is not based on our performance. Our confidence is in the performance of Jesus. This is true of wisdom and understanding.

The source of one’s wisdom and understanding can be determined by the way a person displays his/her wisdom.

Natural, earthly and even demonic wisdom will produce jealousy and selfish ambition (James 3:14-16).

“But wisdom from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, reasonable, full of mercy and good fruits, unwavering, without hypocrisy” (James 3:17).

A person who is sharing God’s wisdom will do so in a manner that is pure, peaceable and gentle.
